When I was a kid, a great deal of attention was paid at meal times to see that everyone had a fair share of the meal. If any of us felt we had been short-changed we would make quite a bit of fuss and demand that justice was done.

Imagine the whole world is sat down to eat at a dining table near you right now. It turns out that there is more than enough food to go round, it is just that some of us have got loads piled on our plates while others at the far end of the table have to sit there and watch us eat seconds…and throw the rest away when we are too full.

Time to make quite a bit of fuss and demand that justice is done.
